When the lack of a dedicated IT support team prevents your company from growing

​In 2019, Every were looking for an IT provider who could support their team of 30 in migrating their email provision from G-Suite to Exchange Online; they felt the limitations of their current solution and lack of a dedicated IT support team were preventing the company from growing. The nature of Every’s work means security of data and processes is paramount, and they wanted to find a trusted provider who understood this, and the significant threats on data faced in their industry.

Assisting company growth

By July 2020, the team had grown to 65 remote and office-based staff; we provide IT support, management, security and monitoring of their IT network infrastructure, and device upgrades as and when required. We receive an average of 30 tickets per month; all are resolved within agreed timescales.

Working with their HR department and using an automated system we developed for them which ensures all relevant departments are alerted to prepare for new staff members, we manage the procurement and set-up of devices for all new starters, ensuring their computer is ready and waiting for them when they arrive on day one.

Creating bespoke solutions

In March 2021, we began a six-month project to migrate all devices to Microsoft 365 and roll out our DocuLari advanced online workspace which enables Every to use products including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive to create an intranet where they can share internal announcements/updates, store and access company documentation, and collaborate on projects, communicating through chat/video. We are also setting up our CyberLari advanced security for their 365 workspace, email, company documents and devices.

We have introduced reporting dashboards which streamline the way call information is presented to the sales team – something our IT enhancement team identified as a previous frustration for them – and introduced a new booking system which enables staff to book multiple team members onto a single job.

Our IT projects team is currently managing the full migration of all Every data to a new data centre to provide improved functionality and resilience for their application, as well as putting a new disaster recovery solution in place.

We have provided further savings on the contract to date through other renegotiations, and by reducing spending on new equipment through improved asset tracking.
